"Founded by designer Bronwyn Lowenthal in 2002, Lowie is a sustainable womenswear label built from a love for traditional handicraft techniques, heritage elements, and an unwavering appreciation for the environment. Nearly two decades later, Lowie has grown from its humble beginnings in knitwear accessories to a vibrant womenswear label releasing thoughtfully made products throughout the year. We are a South London brand with a design studio in Brixton, a shop one in Herne Hill and another in Crystal Palace.

Despite the passing of time, Lowie has stayed true to its roots and the ethos on which Bronwyn built it. In our designs we continue to share our love of colour and design, to be inspired by elements of craft and to incorporate traditional techniques such as hand embroidery and knitting and hand screen printing. As a brand, Lowie tries to be as ethical and sustainable as possible, putting the issues of sustainability and renewability at the forefront. We seek sustainably made fabrics, manufacture with low energy consumption, and work with manufacturers we trust and who pay their workers fairly.
